Partnership with Parents
Relaxed and welcoming
The Nursery provides a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for both children and parents/carers. The staff positively encourage parents/carers to engage with the nursery and build a good relationship with all staff. The Nursery has a legal responsibility to work in partnership with parents/carers.
Open Door Policy
An ‘open door’ policy will be in operation and all parents/carers are welcome to visit the Nursery at any time.
If any parent/carer is concerned about their child they can contact the key person or Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCO) at any time to discuss their concerns.
The Nursery policies and procedures are available to view at time.
Online and electronic observations and assessments will be carried out on tablets on the IConnect Childcare system and this can be viewed by parents/carers at anytime.
Suggestions are always welcome!
A suggestion/comment box, information board and leaflets are located in the foyer/entrance at each nursery and we welcome any suggestion or comments.
We also have a lending library of toys and activities that parents/carers can take home to borrow and share with their children. The lending library is there to support learning at home.
